Balance and Yoga!



I read this great piece on the yoga philosophy of balance, and two ideas really stuck with me:


  1. Balance isn’t something you “find” someday, it’s something you practice daily. It’s a mix of effort and ease.

  2. Rest isn’t the opposite of achievement. It’s part of it. Slowing down and listening to your body actually helps you perform better long term.


If you’re doing the Balance Challenge, this is your reminder that balance isn’t just about standing on one leg. It’s about how you train, recover, and show up. Jessica’s yoga class is a great way to build both strength and steadiness while giving your body what it needs. See you there?

Anyone else off to a rough start?! 😅


Today I hung my calendar in the bathroom and this will definitely help because I keep forgetting the habit pretty much every day! I got my strength exercises in this morning and with my new reminder, I should be able to complete the daily habit from now on.
