POUND Recital Performance

Art in Motion has invited us to perform in the 2025 dance recital and we're going to show everyone that POUND is for everybody and every body! Here are the details: The recital and rehearsal will be held at the Johannesburg Lewiston Auditorium. Rehearsal - May 30th at 5 pm. Wear your recital costume. Recital - May 31st at 5 pm. You must be there and dressed by 4:30 pm Practices - Every Sunday from 1-2 pm except for May 18th. If you need more time to practice, make arrangements with Sarah. Costumes - Choose a non-restrictive outfit that makes you feel like a fitness rock star! Feel free to make it your own and be sure you choose something that is comfortable and lets you move freely. Examples will be given at practices or google “POUND Fitness” for inspiration. Shoes are optional. Choreography - POUND is for everybody and every body and we want to relay that message! We chose songs that have multiple levels of modifications and we want you to choose the ones that work for you. Let’s rock this performance and most importantly, have fun! Cost - $25 and it will include a Movement on Main t-shirt or tank top that you can customize however you like. Cut it, tie it, tie dye it... make it your own! Shirt styles will be provided and sizes will need to be turned in by May 4th.
